Design secure and scalable Databricks solutions that help more than 2,000 Rabobank colleagues turn data and artificial intelligence into value
Own architectural decisions and define the technical direction for enterprise implementations
Translate business needs into future-proof solutions for data engineers, data scientists, analytics teams and business stakeholders
Establish standards for governance, integration, security, performance and cost management
Translate business and technical requirements into robust and scalable Databricks solutions
Establish best practices for platform security, performance, reliability and optimisation
Collaborate in a scrum environment and align technical decisions with other architects
Design enterprise-scale Databricks and Lakehouse solutions across data, analytics, artificial intelligence, governance and integration
Create clear solution designs that translate business requirements into secure, scalable and future-proof architectures
Safeguard security and compliance by setting standards for governance, performance, reliability and platform optimisation
Help provide secure and enabling analytics services as part of the technical team Yokai

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in designing enterprise-level Databricks and Lakehouse solutions
Databricks architecture experience within regulated or financial organisations
Knowledge of Azure or Amazon Web Services, distributed processing, SQL and Python
Strong communicator who can explain complex architecture decisions to different stakeholders
Proactive team player who improves processes and works effectively with other architects
Eager learner with a good command of English; Dutch is optional
Assessments can be part of the application process
A reliability assessment is part of the procedure
