About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gain hands-on experience across Finance, Risk and Financial Economic Crime domains
Complete four rotations during the 18-month programme
Analyse information and turn it into insights for reporting, financial steering, risk management or regulatory compliance
Contribute to projects involving climate risk, bank-wide stress testing, customer integrity and business change
Help explain financial results, support risk decisions, test difficult scenarios, strengthen customer integrity or improve team processes depending on rotations
Combine day-to-day work with training, development activities and side projects
Work with other trainees on a business challenge and develop a practical solution for Rabobank
Learn with guidance from experienced colleagues, a talent manager and the trainee community

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed a university master’s degree, or will graduate before the traineeship starts
Studies related to Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Law, Criminology, Cybersecurity, Security and Information Management or another relevant subject
No more than two years of work experience after graduation
Must currently live in the Netherlands
Problem-solving and change agility
Professional collaboration, communication and storytelling
SQL, Python or R and Power BI, or willingness to learn them
Curiosity and ability to adapt when assignments or circumstances change
Ability to work respectfully and professionally with people from different teams, cultures and backgrounds
Ability to explain ideas clearly and openness to feedback
Motivational letter required
