About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement security best practices across Radformation's portfolio of radiation oncology cancer treatment software
- Coordinate third-party security tests and audits
- Define standards and best practices for secure software design and cloud infrastructure
- Build and manage tools and libraries that help engineers deploy secure software
- Integrate security into DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Triage and resolve software security vulnerabilities
- Own compliance audits such as SOC2
- Create security guidance documentation
- Partner with teams across the organization to promote secure development practices and cultivate a strong security culture
- Maintain acceptable scores on security benchmarks
- Lead security engagements such as external penetration tests
- Monitor systems and networks for vulnerabilities or breaches
- Identify infrastructure and application-level vulnerabilities during internal audits
- Conduct system design reviews and guide engineers in building security into architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in related field and at least 10 years experience
- 5+ years working as a security engineer
- Experience in dealing with internal/external security audits and penetration tests
- Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, network security, and secrets management
- Experience with incident management and creating workflows, action plans for responding to security incidents, documenting incidents, and coordinating post-mortem reports
- Understanding of network and web-related protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, and routing protocols
- Experience integrating and tuning network security infrastructure
- Cryptography experience, including AES and Scrypt
- Understanding of web services
- Security experience in GCP environments
- Security implementation experience using OWASP
- Knowledge of network stack/protocols, SSO, OAuth 2.0, and AD
- Background in security and compliance audits, such as GDPR and SOC2
- Preferred: Experience with HIPAA regulations in software implementations, hospital IT requirements, and C++
- Ability to work in the USA and answer employment visa sponsorship questions
