About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and facilitate the Steering Committee and operational Portfolio Sync instance
  • Support the executive Governance Committee
  • Maintain an evaluation framework ensuring funded real estate projects align with corporate priorities
  • Structure prioritization and trade-off files for monthly and quarterly resource allocation reviews
  • Maintain centralized visibility of short-, medium-, and long-term real estate roadmaps, including annual and five-year plans
  • Assess team workloads against capacity to anticipate bottlenecks and plan future requirements
  • Analyze dependencies across Facilities Planning, Asset Management, Engineering, Leasing, and Major Construction Projects
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and visual tracking tools for costs, timelines, and expected benefits
  • Ensure collection, centralization, and modeling of operational and financial portfolio data
  • Identify and resolve escalated tactical issues affecting project delivery
  • Prepare files for the Governance Committee and escalate risks or issues to the SteerCo
  • Drive risk management strategies and track action plans to reduce portfolio exposure
  • Monitor the tactical and operational performance of the PDS service provider
  • Bridge technical teams, operations, service providers, Finance, and senior executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project/program management
  • At least three (3) years acting in a portfolio management or senior leadership role on complex initiatives
  • Experience delivering large Real Estate projects
  • Strong understanding of maintenance of assets, modernization of workspaces, and transformation of owned/leased portfolios
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of capital and operating expenditures within a real estate portfolio
  • Expert ability to adapt communications and maintain alignment among diverse audiences
  • Strong proficiency in data tools for tracking portfolio performance metrics and creating dashboards
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience and training
  • Functional bilingualism (English/French)
  • Experience with Jira, Power BI, MS Project or similar tools is an asset
  • Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing
  • Successful candidates must complete a mandatory criminal record check and may undergo other background checks
