About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise leaders and teams on defining and implementing technology transformations
  • Analyze needs, diagnose challenges, identify required changes and deliver recommendations aligned with organizational goals
  • Guide departments and divisions in evolving operating models and ways of working
  • Advise on process design, governance, roles and responsibilities, and team collaboration structures
  • Develop approaches, frameworks, tools, interaction models and practical guides for transformation implementation
  • Design and execute change management and adoption strategies and plans
  • Conduct impact assessments, organizational readiness activities and risk mitigation
  • Define and lead engagement, communication and capacity-building strategies
  • Deliver user training and prepare delivery teams and change agents with Learning & Development partners
  • Identify and resolve risks, resistance and operational roadblocks
  • Define and track metrics measuring progress, adoption and effectiveness of new ways of working
  • Participate in transformation forums and events, including strategic meetings, sprint reviews, program demos and quarterly planning sessions
  • Support the Daily Content initiative modernizing CBC/Radio-Canada's content creation platforms
  • Align diverse teams and stakeholders around shared vision and common goals
  • Support the Operational Excellence Office's methods, practices, capabilities and transformation community of practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, technology or a field relevant to organizational transformation, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Seven to 10 years' experience leading large-scale technology transformations
  • Experience evolving technology operating models, processes, governance structures, roles and responsibilities, and ways of working within complex, matrixed environments
  • Proven experience as a strategic transformation adviser
  • Strong skills analyzing and diagnosing complex issues, challenging current practices, formulating actionable recommendations and guiding execution
  • Solid understanding of product management models and agile practices at scale
  • Expertise in SAFe, Scrum or other scaled agile frameworks required
  • Experience with Lean and iterative transformation approaches
  • Demonstrated end-to-end change management and adoption experience, including impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications and capability building
  • Knowledge of media production, broadcasting workflows and related technologies is a major asset
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, including labour relations, manage resistance, resolve conflict and build trust-based relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Ability to influence, guide and engage leaders and teams without direct authority
  • Exceptional facilitation and active listening skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, plain language
  • Bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken, required
  • Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing
