About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop client agreements after demos and established interest, converting prospects into signed customers
  • Own end-to-end customer onboarding from kickoff to confident, independent daily use
  • Serve as primary liaison between clients and the platform team
  • Quarterback customer requests, triage issues, and direct work to appropriate team members
  • Deploy the platform in customers' real-world environments
  • Scope, build, and troubleshoot integrations with customers' existing systems and data
  • Drive growing usage, identify expansion opportunities, and act on them
  • Own net revenue retention and expansion targets
  • Earn and protect customer trust by ensuring outputs are correct and defensible
  • Build scalable customer success systems, including self-service resources, documentation, onboarding playbooks, training, and tooling
  • Run customer enablement and education
  • Translate deployment observations into prioritized product feedback for engineering
  • Build and lead the customer success team as the customer base grows
  • Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on technical ability; ability to build and troubleshoot integrations
  • Ability to scope and wire an integration, work through an API, read documentation, and troubleshoot connections
  • Experience standing up software inside another organization's environment with messy data and undefined processes
  • Experience working with risk-averse, accountable customers in government, education, healthcare, finance, or another high-trust, regulated setting
  • Experience owning a number, a book of business, or a unit's outcomes, with accountability for usage and revenue growth
  • Experience building documentation, self-service resources, repeatable playbooks, and operational tooling
  • Product sensibility and ability to provide clear deployment feedback to engineering
  • Ability to teach non-technical users and build customer enablement
  • Prior teaching, training, or enablement experience is a strong plus
  • Alignment with the company's mission
  • Prior software, technical customer success, or solutions/deployment engineering experience is ideal
  • Public-sector experience is a welcome bonus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience will be considered
