About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop conversational AI and agentic solutions for mobile banking customer support
Build AI orchestration and dialogue flows integrating specialized AI agents and backend capabilities
Integrate AI agents using A2A and MCP
Design and implement RAG solutions using retrieval strategies, knowledge sources, and vector databases
Build search and reasoning graphs for multi-step customer request resolution
Integrate AI solutions with banking APIs and customer data using secure, controlled access
Develop microservices and REST APIs supporting AI and agent workflows
Implement tool calling, function calling, and agent-to-agent workflows
Build routing, fallback, and human handoff mechanisms
Develop automated tests for AI workflows, integrations, and APIs
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI solutions in production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong commercial experience in Java and building scalable microservices / distributed systems
Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, design patterns, and RESTful API design
Experience integrating complex enterprise APIs and heterogeneous data sources with robust authentication/security, including OAuth2, OIDC, and secrets management
Proven track record developing production-grade LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and workflows using state machines or graphs
Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, including hybrid and semantic retrieval, reranking, embeddings, and vector databases
Deep understanding of tool/function calling, context management, MCP, and Agent-to-Agent protocols
Understanding of LLM security and safety, including prompt injection mitigation, sandboxed tool execution, data privacy, and access controls
Cloud and DevOps fundamentals: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Linux
Experience with unit and integration testing, distributed systems testing, and evaluation of non-deterministic LLM outputs
Production observability experience with distributed tracing, logging, metrics, and AI tracing/evaluations
Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, ADK, or similar frameworks and orchestrators is a plus
Experience with Qdrant, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch is a plus
Experience building and operating MCP servers in enterprise environments is a plus
Experience with event-driven architectures such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS is a plus
