About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Level 2 (L2/Tier 2) application support
- Manage the knowledge base and maintain support documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including analysts, architects, software engineers and QA engineers
- Support and maintain software applications
- Manage changes, maintenance activities, system alerts and incident lifecycles
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in software application support
- Experience working in hybrid environments, including AWS
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus and the ELK stack
- Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2 and S3
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with banking/financial industry systems, workflows and business processes
- Strong investigation and troubleshooting capabilities, including log analysis and proactive issue prevention
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Critical thinking and a structured, methodical approach to root-cause analysis and problem resolution
