About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify product requirements
Create clear test scenarios
Conduct manual and automated tests for new developments
Participate in planning test scenarios and cases
Apply test design techniques
Report detected defects and track their correction
Control the quality of implemented changes
Participate in daily meetings, retrospectives, and other team meetings
Create and update testing documentation
Develop, configure, and maintain automated tests for key product functionalities
Create UI and API testing scripts
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in software testing, focused on mobile applications
3+ years of experience in mobile automated testing
Hands-on experience in testing and requirements research to prevent defects in early development stages
Proficiency in test design techniques
Experience writing test documentation
Understanding of testing fundamentals, test types, and test levels
Understanding of the role of testing in the SDLC
Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
Knowledge of rules for building automation frameworks using Java, Appium, and REST Assured
Solid experience with simulators/emulators, real devices, and device farms
Proficiency with Charles Proxy or Proxyman
Solid experience with Postman and Swagger for API testing
Experience working with microservices architecture
Experience working with logs and localizing defects
