About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of new features
Participate in test planning and design test scenarios and cases using test design techniques
Develop, configure, and maintain automated tests for core product functionalities
Create UI and API test scripts
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to clarify product requirements and formulate comprehensive test scenarios
Log and report bugs, track their lifecycle to resolution, and verify bug fixes
Set up testing processes from scratch
Drive process optimization and refine automation strategies
Evaluate new tools and methodologies
Participate in Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
Create and maintain up-to-date test documentation
Analyze logs and localize defects

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in software testing (Web, Mobile, API)
2+ years of experience in test automation
Hands-on experience in testing and analyzing requirements to prevent defects at early stages of development
Proficiency in test design techniques for comprehensive coverage of product specifications and requirements
Experience writing test documentation
Solid understanding of testing principles, types, and levels
Deep understanding of QA's role within the SDLC
Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and test automation framework architecture
UI and API test automation experience
Solid understanding of internet fundamentals, networking, OSI model, and protocols
Practical experience with Selenium/Selenide and RestAssured
Familiarity with microservices architecture
Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Experience analyzing logs and strong defect localization skills
TMS Zephyr experience is a plus
Experience with Docker, K8s, Vault, Grafana, AWS, Spring Boot, and Kafka is a plus
Performance and load testing experience with JMeter or k6 is a plus
