About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, design, develop, and maintain high-availability, high-volume, low-latency applications
Define application objectives and functionality
Ensure application designs conform with business goals
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review
Work closely with Product and Architect teams on large mission-critical systems
Debug, optimize, and performance-tune work across the stack
Develop and maintain high-traffic services handling over 1 billion messages per day
Develop new features, optimize performance, ensure data security, and solve technical challenges within a microservices architecture using Node.js and Java

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
At least 4 years specializing in Node.js
Solid proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with TypeScript-first frameworks such as NestJS, Fastify, or Next.js
Prior experience with Java
Experience developing and scaling enterprise-level production systems within a microservices architecture
Practical knowledge of at least one major frontend framework, such as React or Angular
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database systems
Experience with REST API design and integration, including caching strategies
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization
Experience developing and executing unit and integration tests
Practical experience with Agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
Fluency in written and spoken English
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent qualification (listed as an advantage, not required)
