About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive day-to-day execution of projects globally for instrument-based monitoring solutions used across the electrical transmission and distribution sector
  • Manage the project backlog by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory project-management requirements
  • Develop and maintain a database of projects and related documentation
  • Review and approve project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Monitor and control project risks, issues, and changes
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to project managers
  • Collaborate with departments including Sales, Quotations, Operations, Purchasing, and Field Services
  • Engage customers to ensure technical and commercial specifications are met and hardware and documentation are delivered accurately and on schedule
  • Align projects with overall business objectives and support customer success, revenue growth, and long-term retention
  • Keep up to date with project-management industry trends and best practices
  • Perform other duties assigned by senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSC degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field is required
  • Experience in a technical customer service or commercial operations role; preference for knowledge and experience in utility Transmission, Distribution or Power Generation industries
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of IT and communication protocols
  • Comfort working with instrumentation and using basic programming tools where necessary
  • Proven ability to influence, engage and motivate colleagues and customers to identify appropriate solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and advanced troubleshooting skills in technical and process-related issues
  • Experience with CRM case management such as Salesforce.com and Oracle is preferred
