Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic recruitment leadership through initiatives aligned with business objectives and the commercial-sector talent landscape
  • Design and implement advanced sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber talent
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess skills to match candidates with relevant roles
  • Communicate with candidates and hiring managers, assess applicant fit and potential, and understand team dynamics
  • Develop and manage strategic talent pools for critical roles
  • Innovate employer-branding initiatives and communicate the value proposition to commercial talent
  • Analyze recruitment data, assess sourcing effectiveness, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Advise hiring leaders and HR partners on talent supply-demand dynamics, workforce trends, and salary benchmarking
  • Establish roles and responsibilities and lead recurring hiring-manager check-ins
  • Partner with HR to ensure smooth new-hire transitions and improve employee retention and engagement
  • Support business leaders across functions, with a focus on the manufacturing site in Fairport

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in talent acquisition or applicable HR experience within a global organization
  • Proven ability to independently lead recruitment initiatives, navigate complex challenges, and make strategic decisions aligned with organizational goals
  • Proficiency using LinkedIn, AI-enabled sourcing, latest search techniques, and other sourcing tools
  • Experience building relationships with local talent sources and proactive candidate pipelines
  • Expertise using recruitment analytics and market insights
  • Ability to align recruitment strategies with corporate vision, mission, and objectives while earning senior leaders' trust
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the languages and cultures of regions where recruiting talent
  • Strong collaborative style across multiple businesses, locations, organizational levels, and functions
  • Experience with standard processes and ability to operate within a strong business system
  • Business acumen to understand company and hiring-role goals and challenges
  • Ability to operate with autonomy and discretion and use sound judgment
  • Established commercial-sector professional network and ability to engage passive candidates
  • Exceptional adaptability in a dynamic, high-growth environment
