About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support inpatient physiotherapy teams at Fulwood Hall Hospital and Euxton Hall Hospital
  • Support delivery of rehabilitation services under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists
  • Undertake delegated support work to aid patient rehabilitation and discharge
  • Manage a delegated caseload of patients referred by physiotherapists
  • Deliver treatments under supervision and in line with prescribed protocols
  • Monitor patient progress and make minor alterations within scope of practice and guidance
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions
  • Communicate with the wider clinical team
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, documentation, and maintaining the therapy environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is desirable
  • Understanding of physiotherapy and its role in patient recovery
  • Ability to follow guidance and treatment plans from qualified staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, compassionate approach to patient care
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Position subject to an Enhanced DBS check
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults, children and young people at risk
