About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of approximately ten employees
- Organize, prioritize, plan and monitor activities
- Align resources with the workload plan, contribute to recruitment and support skills development
- Manage the budget, activity and performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, quality and company process requirements
- Guarantee the performance and long-term sustainability of the systems
- Provide the technical support and expertise required to maintain IT systems, industrial systems and business applications in operational condition
- Define, enhance and implement monitoring and remote-maintenance methods, processes, resources and tools
- Analyze service quality, monitor commitments and lead corrective or improvement actions
- Validate the maintainability of solutions proposed by project teams
- Test, validate and deploy new versions released into production, and ensure configuration management
- Anticipate and manage system obsolescence
- Manage subcontracting contracts, including industrial strategy, procurement processes, and operational and contractual management
- Lead end-to-end system maintenance manager responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree, engineering degree or equivalent qualification in embedded systems, industrial systems, industrial IT, telecommunications or complex systems
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in management or operational activity leadership
- Experience with embedded systems, ground-to-onboard data transmission or industrial maintenance is an advantage
- Team management, organization, delegation, arbitration and team-building skills
- Strong understanding of system support, technical expertise, maintenance, integration and qualification requirements
- Ability to manage contracts, suppliers and subcontracted services
- Strong analytical, synthesis and decision-making skills in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Excellent writing skills, rigor, autonomy, ability to prioritize and team spirit
- Knowledge of IT, application, industrial and telecommunications architectures is an advantage
- A valid Category B driving license is required
