Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and execute avionics projects developed internally or with suppliers
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to define project plans, track milestones, and manage risks
  • Lead project planning for mid-sized projects, oversee execution, and resolve moderate issues
  • Own risk assessments and deliverable tracking for assigned projects; resolve complex issues independently
  • Facilitate design reviews and resolve technical challenges collaboratively
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation and proactively adjust schedules as needed
  • Lead risk identification efforts and execute complex mitigation plans
  • Optimize project management tool usage for team efficiency and train others on advanced features
  • Lead resource planning for medium projects and resolve allocation conflicts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electronic systems: boards, mechanical parts, cables, software
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Team-oriented work style
  • 6-10 years experience in technical project management or related field
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-team projects independently
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic project initiatives
  • Experience managing critical supplier/vendor relationships
  • Experience driving cross-functional process improvements
