About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage maintenance documentation tasks, projects and assigned staff
- Produce printed technical training materials, documents and publications
- Author and revise Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins and Service Letters in compliance with ATA iSpec2200 specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, test reports and vendor data for technical manuals
- Evaluate product publication needs, cost and time estimates, and review proofs for quality control
- Communicate with internal groups and subject matter experts to ensure accurate content meeting product or program specifications
- May supervise subordinates and personnel assigned to technical documentation efforts
- May develop and write engineering and regulatory documents, training manuals, presentation data and other technical publications
- Review copy for spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax and factual accuracy
- Coordinate distribution of published materials
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role
- Working knowledge of ATA iSpec2200 and S1000D standards
- Knowledge of CMM, AMM, SB, SIL and other related documents
