About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as key support to finance and commercial teams
  • Deliver core reporting and daily finance management
  • Maintain the weekly sales file, including rolling forward and checking comps
  • Build and validate core reports, including weekly sales, mix, and month-end P&Ls
  • Validate NetSuite information against expectations
  • Support month-end close, including GL coding and monitoring fulfilled/unfulfilled orders for revenue recognition
  • Report month-end information back to Sales
  • Convert channel P&Ls monthly into customer P&Ls
  • Support rolling monthly forecasting and budget building
  • Assist with trade promotion management tools and analysis
  • Partner with Sales and Trade Marketing to evaluate promotions, customer programs, trade spend efficiency, and ROI on brand investments
  • Support scenario modeling for new product launches, pricing adjustments, retailer negotiations, promotional plans, and DSD programs
  • Consolidate Shopify, WM/SC, and NetSuite data into one source for YTD reporting detail
  • Assist in validating Power BI against financial reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within CPG, food & beverage, retail, or consumer brands
  • Commercial finance background with ability to drive decisions using data
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling expertise
  • Experience with ERP/BI tools, including NetSuite, Power BI, Confido, etc.
  • Proven ability to work across functions as well as up and down the organization
  • Good business acumen, communication, and presentation skills
  • Analytical with good strategic thinking
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Comfort in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
  • Strong initiative, ownership mentality, and sense of urgency
  • Collaborative, low-ego style with a business-partner mindset
