About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform research, development, design, and testing of products
Analyze customer requirements and develop design solutions in a team environment
Support on-site or remote factory production
Complete 3D designs of parts and assemblies
Create 2D part and assembly drawings using CAD software
Participate as a drawing checker to ensure items are detailed correctly
Participate in engineering review meetings
Communicate with suppliers and vendors as required
Build and analyze prototypes
Conduct laboratory testing to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards
Create Operations & Maintenance Manuals and/or Installation Instructions for products
Design work is monitored and reviewed by a senior-level engineer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2-5 years’ experience a plus
Proficiency in using solid modeling CAD software (experience with Inventor a plus)
Proficient with MS Office products
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Participation in E-Verify for employment verification
Must work in a drug-free workplace
