About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic initiatives across planning, maintenance, energy efficiency, financial management, suppliers, and infrastructure at RD Saúde
- Support strategic decisions related to investments, asset management, and infrastructure
- Lead Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM), energy efficiency, operational planning, and financial management initiatives
- Manage the planning, monitoring, and execution of CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Develop and monitor KPIs, forecasts, and governance for investments related to maintenance, renovations, expansions, and infrastructure
- Lead the strategic management of suppliers and contracts, monitoring performance, service levels, costs, and payments
- Ensure the operational reliability and continuity of pharmacies and distribution centers
- Anticipate and mitigate operational and financial risks
- Lead managers and cross-functional teams, promoting high performance, productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Develop and enhance processes, controls, monitoring models, and governance mechanisms
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance asset and infrastructure management
- Partner with senior leadership to define the department’s strategy, develop scenarios, and make high-impact business decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or a related field
- Extensive leadership experience in maintenance, facilities, engineering, asset management, or large-scale operations
- Strong experience managing CAPEX and OPEX, budget planning, forecasting, and financial KPIs
- Experience with the strategic management of suppliers, large-scale contracts, and complex infrastructure operations
- Solid knowledge of Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM), preventive maintenance, asset management, and maintenance KPIs
- Experience leading managers and cross-functional teams
- Experience in highly distributed and operationally complex environments—such as retail, supermarkets, hospitals, logistics, manufacturing, or similar sectors—is preferred
- Strong ownership mindset and business acumen
- Strong analytical, financial, and planning skills
- High level of attention to quality, reliability, and operational risk management
- Ability to work in dynamic environments with a high volume of demands and constantly changing priorities
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and make decisions in highly complex contexts
- Strategic vision combined with strong execution capabilities
- Hands-on leadership style focused on people development and building high-performing teams
