About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and review Risk Management policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and report corporate risks, including strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, compliance, and technology risks.
  • Lead periodic risk assessment processes with business areas, ensuring the corporate risk matrix remains up to date.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and support business areas in defining mitigation actions for identified risks.
  • Track the implementation of action plans with risk owners, monitoring deadlines, accountable parties, and the effectiveness of adopted measures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), identifying trends and potential deviations.
  • Update and maintain the risk matrix, indicators, and action plans in the Actio (ERM) system.
  • Prepare management reports and executive presentations for Risk Committees, the Audit Committee, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors.
  • Support the definition and maintenance of the organization’s risk appetite and risk tolerance.
  • Conduct risk impact and criticality analyses, proposing risk treatment and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor loss events, operational incidents, and emerging risks, assessing their impacts and proposing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Serve as a facilitator of the risk culture by promoting training, workshops, and awareness initiatives across the organization.
  • Advise on the company’s strategic projects by assessing and managing the risks involved.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Internal Controls, IT, Finance, and Operations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and market best practices related to risk management, corporate governance, and internal controls.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management methodology, aligned with ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
  • Support the preparation of corporate risk management disclosures, including the Sustainability Report, Reference Form, and other regulatory filings.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and results-oriented approach.
  • Analytical, critical, and investigative thinking.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a questioning mindset for identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with the COSO ERM and ISO 31000 frameworks.
  • Experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems, preferably Actio.
  • Experience preparing materials for committees and the Board of Directors.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, auditing, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Experience in publicly traded companies and with CVM and B3 requirements.
