About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise the Board of Directors, supporting the organization of meetings and preparation of supporting materials
- Prepare and draft minutes of meetings of governance bodies
- Participate in Audit Committee meetings, maintaining frequent contact and direct interaction with executives and senior leadership
- Serve as a point of support on sensitive Governance, Ethics, and Compliance matters, ensuring clear and appropriate communication for different audiences
- Support the promotion of an ethical culture by investigating reports received through the Whistleblower Hotline and responding to inquiries
- Prepare management reports, internal communications, and training materials
- Support responses to ESG questionnaires and compliance with regulatory obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Postgraduate qualification in Compliance, Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field is desirable
- Extension courses in Compliance or Corporate Governance are considered an advantage
- Knowledge of Ethics and Compliance, Corporate Law, and Corporate Governance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and ability to take a position and interact with executives and senior leadership
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple demands simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, clear judgment, and professional maturity
- Confidence in interacting and building relationships with executives, board members, and senior leadership
- Discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ability to resolve complex issues
- Organized, dynamic, and highly self-managed
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Responsible and committed to delivering results
- Willingness to support the team, share knowledge, and contribute to process improvements
