About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work across different RD Station products and initiatives as part of the AI Alliance
Contribute to the backend development of artificial intelligence applications
Develop and maintain backend systems in Python, ensuring quality, security, and scalability
Create and evolve APIs and architectures for AI agents and integrations across products
Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and code quality
Collaborate with developers and other teams to build and evolve solutions
Contribute to technical documentation, UML diagrams, and the dissemination of software engineering best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong command of Python and experience with backend development
Knowledge of React and the ability to work on full-stack solutions
Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, SOLID principles, and design patterns
Knowledge of event-driven systems and SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Clear communication, active participation in technical discussions, and a willingness to learn and collaborate
Experience with artificial intelligence, especially Prompt Engineering, MLOps, or LLMOps (a plus)
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog (a plus)
Experience working on platform, systems support, or complex system migration teams (a plus)
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and Pub/Sub (a plus)
Knowledge of technical documentation practices and system modeling (a plus)
