About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the day-to-day client lead across brand, social, and community teams
  • Translate client briefs and business needs into actionable workstreams across paid, organic and influencer social
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative and influencer teams on impactful, executable social-first ideas
  • Present work, performance and insights to clients
  • Identify and proactively resolve roadblocks, bottlenecks and issues
  • Monitor trends, competitor activity and platform updates
  • Oversee always-on content calendars, paid social activations, community-led campaigns and influencer partnerships
  • Lead content planning, timeline management, stakeholder reviews and approval workflows
  • Ensure content is delivered accurately, on time and to specification across formats, platforms and markets
  • Manage client feedback and amendments
  • Coordinate with producers and creatives on deliverables, usage rights and deadlines
  • Support performance reports and insights with the analytics team
  • Mentor Account Executives and Account Managers
  • Connect creative, influencer, paid media and strategy departments
  • Manage scopes of work, timelines and budget trackers
  • Flag scope creep and resourcing challenges
  • Track time, reconcile budgets and maintain accurate forecasting
  • Manage third-party partners and talent, including influencers, creators and platform representatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in a social-first agency environment and already operating at SAM level
  • Drinks and sports experience or keen interest is highly desirable
  • Direct experience leading always-on social delivery across FMCG or lifestyle brands, ideally within the drinks/sports/healthcare/beauty sectors (Desirable)
  • Strong understanding of social content planning, production workflows, usage rights, and channel nuances (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a reputation for never missing a deadline or deliverable
  • Calm and confident under pressure, with strong instincts, great judgement and a clear point of view
  • Outstanding client communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident managing scopes, timelines, approvals and budgets without constant oversight
  • Experience built primarily agency-side across multiple clients or brands
  • A real pride in doing things well
