About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the monthly management reporting package and turn variances into actionable business drivers
Lead statutory reporting and year-end audits under IFRS and local GAAP
Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
Own multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation and intercompany accounting
Run the close calendar and internal controls, addressing root causes of issues
Drive automation of reporting workflows with Finance Systems
Lead and coach a small team of accountants while handling complex parts of the close
Build processes, controls, and documentation as the finance function matures
Lead reporting automation on a new accounting system during a major upgrade
Address app store revenue recognition, FX management, cost allocation, and cross-border group structures
Work closely with the VP of Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in financial or statutory reporting, audit or controllership, with strong hands-on IFRS knowledge
Proven experience consolidating multiple entities and currencies, including eliminations, FX translation and intercompany
Track record of running statutory audits and working directly with external auditors
1–2 years leading or mentoring accountants, ideally as a player-coach who still does hands-on work
ACCA, CPA, CIMA or local equivalent, completed or substantially complete
Curious, organized approach with strong accuracy when priorities shift
Fluent in English and Ukrainian
Preferred: experience at a fast-growing international tech or SaaS company
Preferred: experience with IFRS 15 revenue recognition for subscriptions or digital products
Preferred: advanced Excel skills and experience with consolidation software or BI tools on large data sets
Preferred: experience leading reporting automation or an ERP rollout, including AI agents in accounting workflows
Preferred: familiarity with US GAAP or other local GAAP, transfer pricing, and ICFR controls
