About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services and responsive web applications
- Ensure high availability, low latency, and smooth integration with core systems
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle from technical planning and API design through testing, deployment, and production monitoring
- Refactor legacy code, reduce technical debt, and improve system reliability and maintainability
- Collaborate with the Principal Architect on architectural improvements
- Establish technical documentation, coding standards, and best practices
- Design and maintain secure REST APIs and microservices
- Support cross-functional teams with technical guidance and integrations
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling web applications
- Strong knowledge of Symfony and React.js
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices
- Experience with API versioning and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and caching strategies
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Ability to translate product requirements and customer feedback into practical, scalable technical solutions
- Ability to manage tasks independently, solve problems proactively, and take responsibility for delivery from planning to production
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
