About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate onboarding of new client data sources and data feeds
Partner with Data Engineering to ingest data into Databricks
Monitor data delivery schedules and ingestion processes
Maintain source documentation, field mappings, and data inventories
Resolve source-related issues with internal teams and external partners
Monitor data freshness, completeness, and accuracy across client datasets
Perform quality assurance and reconciliation checks
Investigate missing, unexpected, or inconsistent data
Coordinate remediation efforts and document data quality findings and resolutions
Support automated data quality checks and monitoring processes
Develop and maintain client-specific tables and reporting views in Databricks using medallion architecture
Transform and standardize data into reporting-ready structures
Document business rules, transformation logic, and metric definitions
Maintain reusable reporting datasets and standardized data models
Serve as primary contact for routine data-related questions
Partner with Client Services, Media, Strategy, and Data teams on data outputs and expectations
Translate reporting requirements into technical requirements and database-modeled data
Communicate data issues, impacts, and resolutions to stakeholders
Troubleshoot discrepancies affecting reporting deliverables
Support Power BI developers and business analysts
Assist with report validation and troubleshooting
Verify dashboard data against source systems and business requirements
Support semantic models and reporting datasets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong SQL and Python skills, preferably in a Databricks environment
Experience using ETL tools and data manipulation concepts, such as Funnel.io, DBT, or similar applications
Comfort partnering with Data Engineering on data sources, schemas, and refresh logic
Deep analytical and problem-solving skills related to data storage and structure for reporting
Experience reviewing data logic, KPI definitions, and QA outputs
Basic BI skills using Tableau or Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard structure, calculated fields, usability, and data storytelling
Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to translate complex business reporting requests into modeled data
Pharma, HCP, or healthcare media analytics experience, including media PLD, preferred/bonus
Digital media measurement expertise preferred/bonus
Experience inheriting or stabilizing existing data warehouse schemas preferred/bonus
