About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct periodic property evaluations and inspections
  • Perform move-in and move-out evaluations and document property conditions
  • Complete weekly and monthly vacant property evaluations
  • Take detailed photos and prepare inspection and evaluation reports
  • Meet vendors and contractors on-site for maintenance and repair assessments
  • Assist with coordinating repairs and follow up on work progress
  • Ensure vendors have property access and accurate repair information
  • Assist leasing agents with property showings
  • Install lockboxes, signage, and other leasing-related materials
  • Verify property readiness before prospective tenant visits
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, notes, and documentation
  • Update company systems with property conditions, vendor updates, and resident concerns
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
  • Complete work orders within established service level agreements
  • Maintain resident satisfaction, safety, inspection completion, and documentation standards
  • Communicate and follow through with residents, vendors, and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to pass a credit check
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record review
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, and dependable
  • Previous property management experience preferred
  • Residential maintenance or handyman experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating vendors and contractors
  • Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, mobile apps and property management software
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Part-time 1099 independent contractor position
