About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the monthly close end to end, including reconciliations and accruals
- Forecast and monitor cash flow
- Oversee invoicing and collections and flag risks early
- Produce monthly reports and explain risks to leadership
- Work with project leads to monitor project profitability and margins
- Review and approve payments and spend
- Own financial controls and policies
- Own tax, audits, filings and deadlines while coordinating external accountants and auditors
- Serve as the internal point of contact for financial matters
- Set and communicate spend policies
- Explain financial information to non-finance colleagues
- Help move manual finance work into automated, AI-supported processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in projects across REBORRN
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in accounting and finance
- Ideally combining audit and in-house control
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax and payroll
- Ability to direct and challenge external accountants and auditors
- Ability to forecast and monitor cash flow
- Ability to produce clear financial reports that support decision-making
- Ability to communicate finance concepts to non-finance colleagues
- Daily use of AI tools and an automation-minded approach
- Experience managing or mentoring people, or readiness to lead
- Fluent in Greek and English
