About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a point of contact and advisor for management and customers on all WMS-related matters
  • Support projects and requirements throughout their lifecycle
  • Independently manage tenders and the implementation of new WMS projects, from planning through evaluation
  • Analyze processes, define requirements, and continuously enhance the warehouse management system
  • Plan, manage, and monitor projects with regard to timelines, resources, and achievement of objectives
  • Coordinate between logistics teams and software partners to ensure smooth information flow
  • Use data analytics to optimize processes and develop innovative solutions that improve efficiency and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least two years of solid professional experience as an IT Project Manager or IT Project Specialist in the WMS sector, ideally within logistics services
  • Completed vocational training, such as training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, or a comparable qualification is an advantage
  • Knowledge of logistics and an understanding of the interaction between operational processes—particularly logistics and warehouse processes—and their system-based support
  • Experience analyzing, optimizing, and implementing warehouse management systems
  • Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work
