About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and/or support R&D projects and maintain existing Household Care products on the market
- Support R&D projects and product launches, including formula development, specification and manufacturing-process design, and raw-material and supplier qualification
- Maintain products throughout the product life cycle
- Ensure documentation and tasks comply with Reckitt operation model requirements and are completed safely, compliantly, with high quality and on time
- Keep TPL updated on task progress and promptly flag challenges, risks, or deviations
- Support associates with data and documentation evaluation
- Maintain R&D laboratories and equipment
- Design and conduct laboratory work for formulation and scale-up activities, including industrial trials and process validation
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to deliver new and maintain existing products for market
- Maintain product development data and systems, including TDS, change control, and raw-material information
- Validate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Manage documentation and records and ensure data integrity
- Complete other tasks within the job responsibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or above, graduated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related; or technician Certificate/associate degree or Diploma
- Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions
- Good laboratory capability to conduct lab/pilot scale experiments and chemical analysis
- Good writing and speaking English
- Good presentation skills
- Proven project management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record in active collaboration with internal and external R&D and non-R&D functions
- Awareness of quality, sustainability and regulatory standards
