About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product development, maintenance, and compliance activities for projects in one or more Durex portfolio platforms
- Deliver independent project activities and manage cross-functional teams including supply, quality, regulatory, and R&D stakeholders
- Manage medium- to long-term development activities protecting base business, implementing product improvements, and defending net revenue through supply initiatives and compliance projects
- Manage assigned tasks independently and ensure key milestones are met according to committed timelines
- Ensure quality compliance with internal and external quality requirements and escalate issues and risks to relevant stakeholders
- Lead medium- to high-complexity technical challenges related to net revenue protection, gross margin improvement, and compliance projects
- Manage projects across Reckitt in-house manufacturing sites and third-party manufacturing sites for materials and products
- Ensure technical aspects of product development, maintenance, and rollout meet agreed timelines
- Manage own projects and deliver projects through direct reporting teams, providing guidance as needed
- Ensure product specifications and internal documentation are complete and approved before full production startup
- Lead laboratory-, pilot-, and commercial-scale trials and optimize processes without compromising product quality or consistency
- Compile, review, approve, and circulate technical reports throughout product and project lifecycles
- Ensure development activities comply with legislative, health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Follow GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulatory and company requirements
- Maintain individual records and collaborate with internal and external partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Science, Polymer Engineering/Science, Pharmacy, or any relevant technical background is preferred
- Ability to work in or experience with laboratory, pilot, or commercial production areas
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in product/process technology in personal care, pharmaceutical, or medical devices
- Knowledge and experience understanding Durex technologies is an advantage
- Medical device development and maintenance experience is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English
- The business language in Reckitt is English; fluency in English is preferred
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure without compromising deliverables
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated, with solid planning and organizational capabilities
- Open-mindedness to challenge the status quo and try new things
- Team-player capability
- Capability to manage projects, large and small, with diligence and efficiency
- Experience working under pressure, prioritizing quality while delivering on deadlines
