About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work directly with clients to help them access services and resources during substance use disorder treatment
  • Meet with clients to complete intakes and identify individual recovery needs
  • Connect clients to appropriate services and resources
  • Help clients navigate linked resources and encourage follow-through
  • Develop relationships with clients and guide them through their recovery journey
  • Collaborate with the medical director, nurse practitioners, and counselors on comprehensive treatment plans
  • Work independently, take ownership of client care, and build rapport in a collaborative team environment
  • Provide evening coverage outside standard 9–5 hours
  • Work 40 hours per week across 4–5 days
  • Report to the Program Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified or Registered Alcohol or Drug Counselor OR Licensed Therapist (LCSW, ACSW, LMFT, AMFT, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in addiction treatment
  • Fluent in Spanish (nice to have)
  • People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
