Key responsibilities & impact

Operational planning, management, and communication of complex software and digitalization initiatives
Coordination of interdisciplinary teams
Applying agile, traditional, or hybrid project management methodologies in coordination with clients
Representing red6’s interests in dealings with clients
Identifying opportunities for follow-on or additional business
Developing customer relationships as a trusted, equal-level point of contact
Serving as the central interface between business units, clients, and stakeholders
Ensuring smooth communication
Providing solution-oriented support to the project team in complex project situations
Contributing to internal strategy and development initiatives
Further developing and expanding project management as an independent service offering
Taking responsibility for complex IT projects in application development and driving digital transformation
Shaping the evolution of existing system landscapes and developing new solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
At least 10 years of professional experience in IT project management within the insurance or financial services industry
At least 6 years of experience leading IT projects, ideally in software development
Relevant project management certifications, such as PMP/PMI, PRINCE2, Agile Coach, or Scrum Master
In-depth understanding of the business processes and system architecture of an insurance company
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Ability to represent positions effectively, including in contentious discussions with various stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex issues
Fluent German, both written and spoken, with professional-level proficiency
Enjoyment of teamwork and willingness to share knowledge and take responsibility
Willingness to travel throughout Germany
