About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and take ownership of the entire test management process in customer projects
Develop tailored testing approaches based on objectives, requirements, and risks
Advise and support customers during implementation
Plan test levels, schedules, and resources
Ensure the provision of test environments and test data
Support stakeholders in the risk-based prioritization of test scope and test depth
Act as the link between business units, development, operations, and the test team
Foster a collaborative and respectful working environment
Document test progress, defects, residual risks, and release decisions
Professionally assess the use of test automation and specialized testing
Involve the right expertise at the right time
Work on projects for HanseMerkur and other customers
Actively contribute project experience to the development of standards and best practices at red6

Requirements

What you’ll need

Practical experience in test management and quality assurance
Experience designing testing activities from planning through evaluation
Familiarity with risk-based testing, test strategy, metrics, and defect analysis
Proficient in working with requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and test documentation
Understanding of agile, iterative, and traditional delivery models
Certifications such as ISTQB CTFL or CTAL Test Manager are preferred
Knowledge of ISO 29119 or a strong understanding of quality standards
Interest in or initial experience with generative AI in test management, quality assurance, or project work
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated results and identify the necessary professional decisions and approvals
Professional assessment of performance, security, accessibility, resilience, and usability
Willingness to exchange knowledge, advise colleagues, and share expertise in a respectful manner
