Help clients address cyber security challenges
Define security policies and strategies
Complete cyber risk assessments
Assess exposure to cyber threats
Implement cost-effective security controls
Provide advisory and hands-on support to identify, manage, and mitigate risks to information and technology assets
Understand business and information risk contexts, including business drivers, cyber security threats, and implementation challenges
Assess risk at technical and business process levels and communicate findings to stakeholders
Evaluate organisational cyber security maturity and develop improvement plans
Review security controls against industry frameworks and propose proportionate enhancements
Research and analyse security technologies to support innovative solutions
Lead client interviews and investigations to assess business impact
Conduct site visits and threat assessments
Apply standards, frameworks, and methodologies such as NIST, ISO27001, and risk management models
Create comprehensive risk assessments and reports
Support account teams in identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals
Collaborate with delivery leaders, cyber security specialists, and advisors on client projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to clearly articulate and present security advice, including technical details, to key stakeholders
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
An undergraduate degree in Cyber Security or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Solid understanding of core cyber security principles and technical aspects
Familiarity with risk management frameworks and their practical applications
Experience with security tools (desirable)
Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, including NIST and ISO27001 (desirable)
Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
Travel to client sites at least two days per week
Must have lived in the UK for the last five years for full SC Clearance
No more than 30 consecutive days spent outside the UK
Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Portsmouth PO3 5EJ
Monday to Friday availability
