About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the operational delivery of the Group’s solar PV and energy storage plants
Ensure technical, financial, and contractual control of projects
Lead the Construction and Engineering departments, procurement strategy, and overall project performance
Oversee the overall portfolio of solar PV and energy storage projects in Europe
Define the asset construction strategy and contribute to strategic decisions during the early development phase
Ensure alignment between the industrial roadmap, financial objectives, and the Group’s priorities
Implement health, safety, and environmental protection measures
Organize resources and schedules, ensuring control of costs, quality, timelines, safety, and environmental performance
Oversee contract management and the industrial commissioning of PV and energy storage projects
Coordinate internal technical expertise and establish technical standards
Develop capabilities and harmonize study and design methodologies and technical deliverables for PV and BESS projects
Oversee the equipment procurement strategy and lead contract negotiations with strategic suppliers
Secure the supply chain against potential disruptions
Lead Capex/Opex estimation, contribute to business plans, and ensure the reliability of financial assumptions
Optimize engineering, construction, and maintenance costs
Lead technical, financial, and industrial risk management through key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (or equivalent, Bac+5) in construction engineering
Proven expertise in the construction of solar projects and complex energy infrastructure
Strong command of EPC contracts
Strong command of project planning, budget monitoring, and project cash flow management
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional, multilingual teams working on complex projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
Fluency in English required
Knowledge of another language is a plus
Willingness to travel in France and internationally
