About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Secure the legal aspects of commercial contracts for photovoltaic and energy-storage projects covering procurement, construction, operation, and electricity sales
  • Analyze, draft, review, and participate in negotiating commercial contracts in French and English, including EPC, O&M, strategic equipment procurement, subcontracting, electricity sales, and ancillary-services contracts
  • Assist with contractual matters related to financing transactions, M&A, partnerships, co-development, and tender responses
  • Advise and assist management and operational teams in structuring, negotiating, formalizing, and executing commercial contracts
  • Contribute to identifying, anticipating, and assessing legal risks
  • Develop and deliver internal training for operational teams
  • Help establish and update a database of standard contracts and the Group’s clause library
  • Participate in developing and delivering internal contractual processes
  • Centralize legal documentation and update the Legal Contracts team’s databases and dashboards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Master 2) in international contract law or business law
  • At least 5 years of proven professional experience in contract law, including negotiating, drafting, and managing complex contracts
  • Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or construction sector
  • Strong expertise in negotiating EPC and O&M contracts
  • Comfortable working with PPAs and industrial partnerships
  • Fluency in legal English is essential
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement between the Agen headquarters (1 day per week) and the Toulouse office
