About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and select suppliers for BESS projects
- Prepare tender packages based on technical specifications provided by the engineering teams
- Lead supplier consultations, analyze bids, and negotiate commercial and contractual terms
- Develop performance-driven purchasing recommendations
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle and ensure the reliability of financial data in the Group’s IFS ERP system
- Monitor purchase order progress and provide reporting on critical procurement activities
- Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives are met
- Ensure the compliance and quality of delivered equipment
- Deploy procurement standards, tools, and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support and train teams in fostering a procurement culture
- Conduct strategic market intelligence on the BESS sector, perform benchmarking, and identify value-creation opportunities
- Represent REDEN at leading industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in engineering, procurement, business, or supply chain
- Strong experience purchasing specialized industrial equipment, ideally in the energy sector or on major infrastructure projects
- Advanced complex negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills for managing suppliers in demanding markets
- Strong command of technical procurement in the BESS sector, ideally for Standalone / Utility-Scale systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional stakeholders within international matrix organizations
- Fluency in English is essential
- Willingness to travel in France and internationally
