About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a genuine strategic partner to Technology and Product leadership teams
  • Shape, own, and deliver the people strategy supporting Technology and Product goals
  • Participate in leadership-team planning and shape decisions based on roadmaps and trade-offs
  • Own headcount planning, organisational design, succession, and retention in partnership with the functional executive
  • Identify cross-functional people patterns and bring insights to the wider People Partner team
  • Coach and challenge leaders, including senior vice presidents and executives
  • Introduce practical AI applications into functional and People Partner team workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience as a strategic People Partner or HR Business Partner in a high-growth or fast-changing business, ideally tech or SaaS
  • Experience partnering directly with product or engineering leadership
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of turning people and business insights into commercial outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and make decisions stick without formal authority
  • Confidence using people metrics, including attrition, engagement, hiring velocity, and time to fill
  • Evidence of shaping how a People team works, such as building a framework or fixing a broken process
