About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maximise sales opportunities with technical expertise and recommendations before and throughout the customer's contract
Give technical presentations and software demonstrations tailored to customer requirements
Build rapport and encourage adoption of industry best practices
Join face-to-face customer meetings and share customer insights with the wider sales team
Present at events and webinars and through Redgate and social channels
Deliver technical training to the sales team
Support partners, customers, and sales teams across APAC as a technical expert and trusted advisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience working in a high-tech company as a Solutions Engineer, or in a role at an equivalent technical level
Understanding of platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and Visual Studio
Commercial awareness and a customer-first approach
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, both in person and remote
Genuine interest in technology and ability to learn technical information quickly
Proactive, self-motivated team player
Willingness to travel to prospects, customers, and partners across the APAC region and visit the UK headquarters
Ability to occasionally work outside typical working hours
