About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business processes, workflows, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and process discovery sessions
- Develop current-state and future-state process maps and workflow documentation
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational risks and develop improvement recommendations
- Support process redesign, implementation, and transformation efforts
- Collaborate with leadership, operational teams, and technical stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
- Develop deliverables including process maps, recommendations, implementation plans, and operational analyses
- Support change management and adoption activities associated with operational improvement initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness efforts
- Support the analysis, development, refinement, and documentation of enterprise information models and taxonomies
- Help define and apply taxonomy principles, decision criteria, naming conventions, and information relationships
- Analyze business context, concepts, entities, relationships, definitions, metadata, and data dictionaries to improve consistency across enterprise artifacts
- Support stakeholder working sessions and validation activities to confirm business meaning, process relationships, information needs, and proposed structures
- Assess the readiness and applicability of information assets for specific business use cases
- Develop clear documentation, findings, recommendations, briefings, and reusable artifacts supporting governance and implementation
- Help connect business processes, capabilities, information concepts, data assets, and organizational responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience supporting business architecture, business process analysis, information management, enterprise architecture, business analysis, or related consulting efforts
- Experience developing and documenting as-is and to-be business process models, including identifying process gaps, pain points, dependencies, handoffs, and opportunities for improvement
- Experience supporting business reference models, capability models, process taxonomies, or similar enterprise business architecture artifacts
- Experience organizing and maintaining reusable process documentation, including process maps, definitions, metadata, supporting documentation, and Process Asset Library content
- Experience supporting Enterprise Information Management (EIM) efforts, including analysis and documentation of business concepts, information domains, entities, relationships, definitions, metadata, taxonomies, or data dictionaries
- Ability to analyze relationships across business capabilities, processes, information, data assets, systems, and organizational responsibilities
- Experience supporting the development and application of taxonomy principles, naming conventions, classification structures, and documentation standards
- Experience facilitating stakeholder working sessions, interviews, or workshops to elicit requirements, validate process flows, clarify business meaning, and build consensus
- Ability to translate complex business and operational information into clear process models, reference artifacts, findings, recommendations, and briefing materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business, data, technical, and leadership stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment, synthesize information from multiple sources, and develop structured outputs from evolving requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
