About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze the existing Federal Assembly Collective Agreement (BMTV) and the Expatriate Assignment Policy with regard to their structure, content, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Research and benchmark standard market compensation and assignment models for assembly and service employees
  • Evaluate studies, collective agreements, works agreements, and industry reports
  • Design and conduct an employee survey among the target group
  • Present and document the findings as a basis for management decision-making
  • Develop a conceptual proposal for a new works agreement to replace the BMTV and related provisions
  • Update the Expatriate Assignment Policy in consideration of current legal requirements
  • Collaborate with and receive professional guidance from an experienced HR team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, business psychology, law, business law, human resources management, or a comparable field
  • Interest in employment law, collective bargaining law, works constitution law, and modern compensation design
  • Initial knowledge of empirical methods—particularly questionnaire design and basic statistics—would be an advantage
  • Analytical and structured approach to work, with a high degree of reliability and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with data and preparing complex content for different target audiences, including management, HR, the works council, and employees
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
