About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage in the exchange of scientific data and medical information with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, pharmacists and population-based decision makers.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of B-Cell Malignancies, including NHL and Multiple Myeloma, aligned with strategic medical plans.
  • Identify and maintain lists of medical/therapeutic area experts, investigator targets and associated action plans.
  • Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain relationships with KOLs in Hematological Malignancies.
  • Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource for disease-state and product information.
  • Participate in development and management of company-sponsored clinical trials.
  • Establish scientific relationships with investigators and internal Medical Affairs and support investigator-initiated study concept programs.
  • Identify research developments and treatment-landscape insights to shape medical strategy.
  • Identify research gaps and create opportunities with investigators and site personnel.
  • Respond to information requests and present or discuss scientific and clinical data.
  • Attend medical conferences and collect and report scientific, clinical and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain company policies, procedures, principles and financial controls with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP or DVM) is required.
  • 8+ years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience within a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison function.
  • Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharma regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines.
  • Residency in the assigned territory: Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi or Arkansas.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Established relationships with KOLs and institutions focused on Hematologic Malignancies.
  • Drug launch experience is preferred.
  • Capable of frequent business travel, approximately 70% of time, including air travel, overnight and occasional weekend travel.
