About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and run LC-MS and MSI methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and biomarkers
- Apply CID and ExD mass spectrometry fragmentation techniques to characterize conjugated payloads
- Use CE-MS and iCIEF to characterize protein charge variants
- Build reference databases and spectral libraries
- Process and interpret mass spectrometry data to validate molecular structures
- Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using DIA methods and perform database searching with FDR control
- Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays, including ELISA and western blot methods
- Support development and purification of ADCs using conjugation chemistries, chromatography, and peptide mapping techniques
- Compare platform performance across bioconjugate modalities
- Document experimental procedures and results
- Present findings to the broader analytical sciences team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree
- Must be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position
- Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week during an applicable co-op period
- Relevant majors: Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy
- Demonstrated leadership preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
