About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy and execution of complex early- and late-phase oncology imaging in clinical trials
  • Lead development of imaging biomarkers and support scientific imaging and tumor response assessment in oncology clinical studies
  • Participate in cross-functional program teams with Regeneron clinical and preclinical colleagues and external academic and industry partners
  • Formulate imaging biomarker strategies to inform and advance the clinical pipeline
  • Design and implement multimodality imaging measures as endpoints for oncology therapeutic clinical studies
  • Serve as imaging subject matter expert on imaging strategy, protocols, imaging manuals, imaging charters and statistical analysis plans
  • Collaborate with Clinical Imaging Operations and imaging CROs to ensure study imaging conduct and data integrity
  • Serve as Imaging Scientific Lead in clinical trials qualifying and utilizing novel imaging biomarkers
  • Lead interactions with regulatory agencies and site ethics committees
  • Design and implement novel PET, immuno-PET and other imaging agents and biomarkers in clinical trials
  • Oversee image analysis, interpretation of results, study reports and publications
  • Design and implement innovative imaging translational strategies with preclinical/clinical research teams and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of industry and academic clinical oncology imaging experience
  • Experience implementing central efficacy assessment using RECIST 1.1, PCWG3, Lugano and IMWG in oncology clinical trials
  • Leadership experience applying imaging as a quantitative endpoint in clinical and preclinical oncology studies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to champion imaging innovations and lead projects effectively
  • Willingness to work from Tarrytown, NY; Warren, NJ; Cambridge, MA; or Boston, MA
  • Preferred: Minimum 5+ years of imaging experience in oncology drug development and clinical PET tracer development in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting
  • Preferred: Experience applying imaging as a quantitative endpoint in clinical and preclinical studies
  • Preferred: Experience with regulatory agencies and inspections
  • Preferred: Direct experience with preclinical oncology imaging models using PET and immuno-PET imaging biomarkers
  • Preferred: Strong background in oncology, biology, molecular imaging and familiarity with precision medicine approaches
  • Preferred: Imaging CRO oversight and implementation of quality control procedures
