Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with retina specialists, ophthalmologists, and key customer accounts throughout the territory

  • Maintain expertise in the ophthalmology and retina landscape, including competitive, reimbursement, and market developments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialty sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Demonstrated history of high sales performance and consistent achievement of territory goals and business objectives
  • Experience selling biologics and buy-and-bill products within specialty healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary processes, and contract negotiations
  • Ophthalmology sales experience preferred; retina-focused experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with physicians, retina specialists, and other key customer stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and account management capabilities
  • Ability to navigate complex customer and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must reside within or near the assigned Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas territory; relocation assistance is not provided
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40–60% of the time
