About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform clinical laboratory portfolio management for Regeneron clinical trials
  • Review clinical laboratory operations timelines and risks; manage and communicate risks to keep study starts and data delivery aligned
  • Act as a subject matter expert on central and specialty laboratory processes
  • Keep biomarker strategy delivery schedules for clinical development programs and studies on track
  • Identify and track risks and decisions and create mitigation plans
  • Manage clinical laboratory operations goals, including testing and data-generation progress and schedules across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and cross-functional partners
  • Manage and implement program-level clinical laboratory operations
  • Apply knowledge of clinical laboratory trial requirements and make operational decisions
  • Harmonize the laboratory portion of studies from onset through final delivery
  • Communicate laboratory program direction to clinical study teams and provide operational authority for assigned studies
  • Create and communicate enhancements to Clinical Laboratory Project Management and matrix connections
  • Design and develop processes to address identified gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or in academic or governmental cross-disciplinary teams
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with clinical trials, with a focus on clinical sample collection
  • Extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations, biospecimen logistics, and/or clinical study experience
  • Strong understanding of technical, clinical, and strategic aspects of laboratory operations delivery
  • Clinical study knowledge demonstrated by knowledge in science and technology
  • Must satisfy applicable background-check requirements, including verification of identity, right to work, and educational qualifications where conducted
