About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze biomarker data types across Precision Medicine and biomarker studies
Provide computational and technical expertise in data cleaning and data visualization
Integrate complex datasets and perform statistical analysis on exploratory biomarker data and clinical endpoints
Use technical tools, programming languages, custom coding, and systems analysis to clean data and select or create datasets for analysis
Identify data anomalies and collaborate with data stewards on root cause analysis of data quality issues
Prepare scientific presentations, manuscripts, reports, quality-checked tables, and graphs
Communicate analytical plans and timelines for multiple concurrent projects
Develop, benchmark, and implement computational workflows
Maintain coding and data cataloguing practices for consistency and reproducibility
Develop tools and dashboards for processing, analyzing, querying, visualizing, and cleaning data

Requirements

What you’ll need

PhD, or Master's with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Quantitative Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field
Experience with statistical modeling/regression, machine learning, and relevant data blending
Experience with at least one of R, Python, or MATLAB
Experience working in Linux and/or cloud, shell scripting, and notebook environments
Knowledge of structured data and ability to perform data mapping for systems integration, data provisioning, and data consumption (strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of clinical trials (strongly preferred)
