About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop legal strategies for complex, high-value matters
- Manage litigation and strategic negotiations
- Draft and review pleadings, appeals, legal opinions, and other relevant legal documents
- Work on debt recovery and asset tracing
- Analyze risks, opportunities, and scenarios to support business decisions
- Represent clients at hearings, meetings, and high-impact negotiations
- Monitor legislative and case law developments to develop strategic legal arguments
- Support the team’s professional development by sharing knowledge and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Postgraduate degree in Civil, Corporate, Banking, or related law
- Solid experience in strategic litigation and debt recovery
- Strong knowledge of Banking Law and asset tracing
- Experience at firms specializing in debt recovery and judicial reorganization (a plus)
- Experience negotiating complex matters involving financial institutions and large companies (a plus)
- Knowledge of DIP financing and asset structuring (a plus)
